We developed Patientcheck.in to make the waiting room experience better for our patients. Enabling them to see their real-time queue position and to tell us why they’re here, in their own words, is empowering. As Patientcheck.in also reduces the time we spend on typing up notes, it just makes life easier for everyone. We’re very grateful to the HIN and St George’s for backing this project.

Dr Gabe Jones is a consultant in Emergency Medicine and Trauma at St George’s, London. Gabe’s passion for improving digital healthcare, specifically triage and emergency care patient flow, led him to founding Patient Check-in which has been widely used by patients at St George’s hospital.
Dominic Joseph

Dominic is serial tech entrepreneur, principally known for having founded and led Captify Technologies as CEO between 2011 and 2023. As well as remaining on the Captify board, Dominic is an investor, strategic advisor and sits on the board of various global tech companies. Dominic was named EY (Ernest and Young) Entrepreneur of the year for London and South East in 2021.
Glen Ames
Chief Product and Technology Officer
Glen leads Product and Technology at Patientmaster. Glen previously spent 20 years leading product and engineering teams in California’s Silicon Valley, working at major tech companies including Nortel, Yahoo, AOL, AT&T and Turn (Singtel). More recently Glen spent five years as CTO/CPO at Captify Technologies and led Technology at Bidstack.
Lexi Howland-Jackson
Head of Operations
Lexi heads up Operations at PatientMaster. With a background as a former Army Officer and startup founder, Lexi drives execution across the company, implements solutions and streamlines processes to allow healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.
Verity Croll
Head of Program Management
Verity is an experienced Transformation Lead in the medical sector. She has worked in hospitals for ten years leading large-scale change projects. Her background is in healthcare analytics and management consulting and at Patientmaster, Verity is heading up customer implementation and Program Management.
